Synopsis of Talk (Positive Approach to Character Building and Confidence through Horseback Riding)
Children who learn to ride and look after a horse develop an understanding of the rich relationship that can exist between humans and animals. In olden days, almost everyone knew how to handle a horse. However, today, fewer people have the chance to learn to ride but for whose who do, it is a most rewarding experience.

" POSITIVE APPROACH TO CHARACTER BUILDING AND CONFIDENCE THROUGH HORSEBACK RIDING"

BENEFITS
· Improve fitness and well-being through horse riding.
· Horse riding offers a great workout for both the mind and body, physically boosting the cardiovascular system and mentally easing stresses on the mind.
· Horse riding is recognised as having excellent therapeutic qualities.
· Developing a relationship and sense of trust between oneself. Learning to control emotion and build up confidence.

OBJECTIVES
The objectives of horse riding activities / programme are

· To offer a new dimension to teach the youth in a way to stir up their interest. This programme is the first and only one of its kinds in positive approach to character building and confidence through horseback riding.

· Offering this combination of services comprising a horse riding activities and is to also offer recreational opportunity to the community especially to the youths who otherwise are left with. In view of that, the project designers are planning to offer the youths the possibility to work in the farm and recreations as well as to face new challenges.

· To provide highly customized lessons for each youth based on their individual needs and objectives. Our goal is to do this in a safe, positive, confidence-building, enjoyable environment. We emphasize not just riding, but overall interactive skills. Horse riding activities is to offer challenging and creative riding exercises to help improve the youth’s ability and confidence.

· Increase youth participation in various program and healthy activity that encourage unity and to give opportunity to the youth to participate in healthy life style activity.

· Develop morality, values and patriotism and also volunteerism among youth.
